::2012, You Were Alright::

Hard to believe that 2012 is over.  It went by in such a flash.  Have I really lived in Virginia for almost a year?!  It’s crazy really!

I once read that January 1st sets the mood for the whole year.  I really hope that is true.  I rang in 2013 in Times Square, watching the ball drop from right outside my hotel (meaning I didn’t have to stand in the cold starting at 11am….walked right out at 8:00!) More on this whirlwind NYC experience in a post next week….including a Mood and Project Runway adventure as well as some quality time in Purl SoHo.

Now, back to the point of this post…..

::My 2012 Finishes::

2012 was full of memory quilts (I made close to 10) and bags, cases, pouches, and table runners.

There was also 2 magazine contributions to Fat Quarterly ezine, as well as 2 indie released PDF patterns.  (I see a lot more PDF releases in the recent future…one is just about ready for testers!)  I also hosted my first quilt along, and planning a second for 2013.

So there you have it: 2012 in a nutshell, wonderfully busy!  I also owe a big thanks to my readers.  Your support makes what I do possible!

 I hope that each and every one of you have a happy and healthy 2013!

    Impressive year! I love watching your progress on Instagram. I think 2013 will be a good year – we’re all stuck here, but getting used to it. More beach days this summer! {hoping it’s not too hot!}
