I have had this screen open all day and night. As usual, ten million other things needed my attention so I walked away and completely forgot to finish.

I pieced about a gazillion HST. It is so close to being a finish, I only need to sew the last row onto the top and it will be ready for basting! (Finally!)

My deliciously yummy stack of Tula Pink’s newest line, The Birds and the Bees had arrived. I am SO unbelievably excited about this one. I will be using it for an upcoming blog tour quilt featuring the patterns of Tula Pink.

And of course I had to pull my favorite prints from the stack to ohh and ahh over. I am surprised at how much I love these, I can’t stand bugs. Usually I avoid fabric with bugs on it at all costs! These bees are so un-bug like to me for some reason….maybe it’s the birds. Or maybe it’s Tula’s ability to take such everyday things and add some whimsy and personality to them. Whatever the reason is, I love it!

And as if I didn’t have enough to do everyday, we added a new family member! This is Kodi, she’s a hound/lab mix. So far she has just been the sweetest puppy and is proving to be a great fit for our family.

My crazy crew. On a mission. (PS the fence isn’t always so crazy looking, it’s just reinforeced until Kodi is big enough to not slip through the spaces!)
I’m off to get that last row sewn up on that quilt so that I’ll be THAT much closer to another finish! That way I can cut up that beautiful Tula fabric that has been sitting and taunting me this week!
Have a great weekend!
